When you have any business you are only as good as your staff that help you. At the opening of our cafe we were lucky enough to find Connie, 16, surefooted, confident, unflappable, polite and good at adding up. And then along came Rosie 18, bright, a wiz at making scotch eggs, smart and sassy. Between the two of them they made our first few months so much easier and nicer. We are on the lookout for some talented people to join our team here at The Story Pig at the end of August.

We are looking for a Café & Shop Assistant to help us in our beautiful new Lavender Keepers Café & Shop located in Sandford Orcas, Dorset.

Tasks would include (but not limited to); Welcoming guests, serving food, making hot drinks, taking card or cash payments, assisting in the kitchen and cleaning the café areas.

We are looking for energetic individuals, with good initiative and who are keen to learn. We are preferably looking for individuals with some hospitality experience, but all CVs are welcome!

This role would be perfect for college or university students looking to work over the weekends and the occasional Thursday or Friday.
