We hope that you are all well and looking forward to Christmas. We want to let you know about Christmas at The Story Pig and our Lavender Keepers Winter Café.
Here at The Story Pig we are preparing everything for your Christmas orders. We are at present busy curing lots of gammons and bacon, ready for the busy time ahead and our customers will have our very Free Range Tamworth pork, with an excellent quality and flavour for your Christmas table!
We must have all our Christmas orders in by the 17th of December at the latest.
The last day for us to send your orders away is the 20th December, and the last day to pick up your order at our Farm is the 24th December at 4 pm.
Our gammons do not grow on trees, so don’t wait until the last minute to order your gammon. Our maximum size of gammon is 3 kg, smoked or unsmoked. We will of course have lots of pigs in blankets in our shop too. You can order online or give Charlotte a ring on 07724885353
Lavander Keepers Winter Café
At the Lavender Keepers Winter Café, our Tipi is now snug inside our barn, with patio heaters to keep us warm. We are open Saturday and Sundays between 10 am and 4 pm. We can offer something warm to eat, home baked cakes & hot drinks.
Our fridge is filled with our home grown, home butchered pork.
13th and 14th of November
Everything Sausage: sausage in a roll, sausage casserole and lots of sausages to bring home! And a vegetarian soup!
20th and 21th of November :
Raclette; the French and Swiss dish, made with the local Montgomerys Ogleshield cheese, that is melted and scraped off on boiled and crushed potatoes, also homegrown by Montgomerys, and served with our Streaky crispy bacon!
