When are you open? 

Our summer opening hours are Thursday to Sunday 10am – 4pm, and Pizza Night is every Friday 5pm – 8pm. They are also on our sign at our entrance. Please note, we are a working farm and this is our home, so unfortunately we do not welcome visitors when we are closed.

Do I need to book?

There’s no need to book for breakfast, lunch, cakes and more Thursday to Sunday, just show up! We only ask you to reserve your ‘dough’ for Pizza Night on Fridays, whether you eat in or takeaway by contacting Charlotte on 07724 885353.

How accessible is The Story Pig? 

Our parking is close to the café, but is on gravel. Therefore, there are a couple of areas where it is uneven and involves a step. We have many visitors with mobility issues, including wheelchairs, and generally they manage well. We will always help where we can to make you feel comfortable. Please call Charlotte if you have any specific questions and/or concerns on 07724 885353 ahead of your visit.

Are dogs welcome at The Story Pig? 

Yes, we welcome your four-legged friend, as long as it is well behaved, on a lead at all times, and we ask that you keep our beautiful farm clean.

Do you cater for gluten free? 

Charlotte home bakes everything and always makes a cake or two that are gluten free every day. Also, the pizzas we serve are available in gluten free – we simply ask that you order beforehand. Please call Charlotte on 07724 885353.

We do however prepare and cook in the same facility and oven as our regular items, and therefore cannot guarantee that our menu items are free of gluten as there is always a possibility of cross contamination.

Are you vegan friendly? 

We are a pig farm using our own high welfare meat, so generally we don’t cater for a vegan diet, but we have vegetarian options available. 

Can we see piglets when we visit? 

Generally, we have piglets and sows available to view from just behind the tipi. The rest of our pig farm is closed to the public as we are a working farm. We thank you for keeping to the areas that are available for viewing.
