HOW FAR WE’VE COME

In 2018, Charlotte joined James at Lavender Keepers and from then ‘till now we have built The Story Pig together every step of the way. Both with an eye for detail and design we have slowly added every year to our dream to bring it to fruition, creating a destination locals and tourists alike love today.

After not being allowed to legally live onsite from 2016, James finally (after a long battle with the local council!) received planning permission to live in a mobile home initially for 3-years. But as the pandemic hit, and the local planning system ground to a near halt, we are, at the time of writing this (spring 2023) still waiting for our final approval for us to be able to start building our own house at the farm – fingers and toes crossed!
