In 2016, James started building Lavender Keepers. At that time, it was bare land, just a rickety old gate at the top of the road!

A jump over the gate exposed the most incredible view and James knew this was where he was going to start his farm and change his life after losing everything in the property crash of 2007. Single handily for 12 months, he moved thousands of tonnes of soil to dig out the site for the big shed and levelled and contoured the ground to make the beginnings of what is at the farm now…
